About Global Language and Music

I’m Lianne Kagunda, founder of Global Language & Music, LLC. I provide private instruction in Japanese, Mandarin, and English (ESOL), as well as violin instruction rooted in classical, medieval, and Renaissance traditions. My work also includes live violin performances for private events and curated cultural programs designed to deepen cross-cultural understanding.

My approach is personal, structured, and goal-oriented. Whether working with corporate professionals, individual learners, or private clients, I tailor each lesson or performance to the specific needs of the audience. Language learning is treated not simply as skill acquisition, but as a gateway to communication, confidence, and cultural literacy.
